Bronco Quarter Horse Stud was founded by the O'Callagan's in Namibia in 1993 and was the first official breeder of AQHA and SAQHA registered horses in South Africa. Our Quarter Horse breeding business started in 2007 when we bought our first 5 American Quarter Horses from the Bronco stud in South Africa and in 2010 we bought the stud from the O'Callagan family and relocated it to Namibia. Izak van der Merwe, his wife Anri with their 3 daughters Nina, Zani and Amia are now the proud owners of the Bronco Quarter Horse Stud.
